So many great new things happening in 2010! Thanks to a good friend of mine who lured me in – I’ve been working with a new company called Mahalo – being surrounded by all of these very creative, inspiring and very smart people has inspired my latest invention – It came to me a few weeks ago so I thought I would write it down – I call it “The Poschair” . Imagine a chair that allows you to work at a computer not only in a regular position but also in a superman position with your arms allowed to rest comfortably or also freely able to work at your computer. Adust The Poschair into any angle throughout the day to maintain a comfortable position and a perfect balance of posture. A face holder rest (almost like a face down massage table) also available to aid in reading or working at a computer in the most comfortable position desired. The Poschair. Oh yeah. I want one!

Hello all-I went 2 a killer nightclub last nt th@ a good friend of mine manages 2 go c sum more good friends frm out of town th@ I haven’t seen in way 2 long! &, kinda cool, the cast of True Blood had their party there 2! Looking forward 2 going 2 the Chargers game Sunday on my bday! Enter Blink-182 music “Nobody likes you when you’re 33!” What’s my age again?! Time flies! What a rollercoaster. After some good conversations last nt about starting the new year a friend said he feels 21 again. I sort of know what he means. It’s like we get to start ove. (It’s so wierd & cool how there happens 2 b a Charger game every year on my birthday. Love it. Let’s keep this streak going! Last yr they even beat the Colts on my bday 2-as u can c us all celebrating & completely stoked with our upset in the pic. Ofcourse, if they wud hav lost, it really wud hav been a lame party. Thank u Chargers. Th@ was a great game but I think this is going 2 b our year! It was also gr8 2 catch up w my brother (the news reporter) last night who went Live on CNN International News for the 1st time. Congrats 2 Jaime! Mad props. Even though the real thing is much better, it was also really cool giving & receiving so many shout outs & cyber smooches last night 2 all of the good friends and family I couldn’t be with (the cyber smooch is copyrighted by the way by williechambers.com all rights reserved 2010) just blabbing – it’s wild how many people we can keep in touch w now-a-days. Lastly, if u happened to read this far… I recommend checking out this new mash up song if you can find it on you tube… “Nirgaga” has arrived. Hope u all got @ least 1 gr8 kiss last nt & maybe even a few cyber smooches! Much love and happiness to all in 2010!

wow. life is such a rush. these past few months have been all over the place with extremes.
after working on some real estate projects with a nice generous woman that I will keep annonymous for no particular reason over the summer, I found myself living in an empty $10,000,000 mansion with Kristen and my puppy dog Ruby. this 5 acre estate has a ton of huge rolling grassy hills that Ruby speeds across chasing birds and protecting us from the rabbits. the place is epic with a great pool jacuzzi movie room I think 8 bedrooms and a sweet guest house in the back-Kristen and I felt so small in the main house that we merged into the back guest house to feel more normal… it kinda feels like we’re living in a dream-I love the spanish style and the cool furniture rugs and art work eventhough most of the house is empty-there’s a really cool living room and it has been fun bringing friends over and playing guitars in the echoey rooms-then one of my guitar idols Tom Delonge from Blink-182 comes over to our new place and asked me if it’s okay to check it out. kinda cool.

I’ve been running into a lot of celebrities lately. I just was in line behind the Chargers kicker Nate Kaeding the other day and of course being the person that I am I said “Nate! right? I’m Willie Chambers and a huge charger fan-great game last week and nice to meet you.” I shook his hand. He said “Thanks and nice to meet you too.” He seemed nice but was actually pretty shy. Anyways, I like meeting random celebrities. It makes great conversation. I thought about it and being a kicker is a job that not many can relate too. A lot of pressure and a lot of standing around. Anyways, he’s pretty good so I’m glad we have him on the Chargers. That would be a great job being a kicker. I am just blabbing bear with me thanks.

I went on a pretty sweet adventure on my friends boat with a crew of 6 friends from San Diego all the way over to my family’s place in Avalon on Catalina Island. When we were on the island we were drinking these great drinks called Buffalo Milk’s which tasted like White Russians with a little Bailey’s Irish Creme in them. Tasty. This one random girl hanging out with friends at the bar we were at by the casino came over and bought me a shot in front of all of our friends. They all started to tease me. I was pretty flattered and it made me feel great. Girls buying shots for guys? What a concept! It kinda freaked me out when she told me that the shot was called “Red Death” but I drank it and it actually was really good. Oh yeah, and I didn’t turn red or die… so that was good too.

The waves were pretty big on the way to the island and it took us about 3 hours to speed our red and white 45 foot cigarette boat called the “Fast Break II” from SD but it was well worth it. On the way back it was a perfect sunny day and glassy and smooth as could be! Our boat sped along like a snowboarder gliding on fresh powder. We had a stroke of luck and saw 100’s of dolphins during the trip back! We even saw a whale! I was so stoked! I probably took 100 pictures with my iPhone of mostly nothing trying to capture some dolphins catching some air – after a lot of misses I finally I got a cool shot that I was hoping for-I randomly got 2 dolphins catching some great air at the same time-sweet.

Lot’s of catching up to do on this blog thingy because I haven’t written in a while-went to a cool Santa Barbara show and saw my friend’s band 5-Alarm play on State Street. It was a blast. The lead singer of 5-Alarm is Christian Love and he is the son of the legendary lead singer Mike Love of The Beach Boys. He sounds a lot like his Dad. With a name like Mr. Love you get a lot of girls looking your way that’s for sure. Just messing around, (but it is true) Christian is a good guy and we’ve had fun playing lots of shows together with different bands through the years. Hopefully more to come soon.

Oh yeah, I have to go but I just put out my first solo album so you have to go check it out!
Free song samples of the entire album at www.cdbaby.com/WillieChambers
Thanks for posting that link for friends to check out and I hope you enjoy the new songs!
I’ve been writing a lot at the mansion so lots of new music to come, thanks for staying in touch,

I can’t believe I actually ran 20 miles by accident 2 days ago (still feel a little sore) from Cardiff camp grounds along the beach 2 Oceanside Pier & then back 2 Palomar Airport Road in Carlsbad…the tide was so low I just kept going! Then my wife Kristen saved me&picked; me up in Carlsbad on my way back…good training 4 a marathon…the warm tub felt gr8 when I got home…took a pic when I realized I made it to the Oceanside Pier-now getting excited 4 some Chargers football! Last Sunday we got some last minute Field Level tickets and pre-celebrated my brother turning 30 – It was a really different awesome experience watching the Chargers beat the Dolphins from that close with my Dad my brother & friends! My brother turned 30 today…holy smokes… time flies when you’re having fun!

When money got a little tighter for everyone this year due to the economy and there were a ton of unanswered questions I now find myself living in a 10 million dollar mansion due to a super-unique circumstance – who’s to say what’s good or bad but sometimes you gotta roll with it – a good friend and former soccer coach e-mailed me and said – “Isn’t life a kick?” That quote has been in my mind and made me think a lot today. Thanks for checking in and one last thing. You can find my kid’s book called The Painted Zebra @ The Book Works in Del Mar next to the Pannikin and at Earth Song Book Store near 15th Street in Del Mar. Stoked. Read it for free at williechambers.com click the star that says “Writing” Hope you enjoy!

Had a really fun time with my wife Kristen and my great friend Jasen (who got us all FREE Field Box tickets!) watching the Padres take on the Phillies last Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009 @ Petco Park. Even though they lost (10 to 5) it was cool watching Tony Gwynn Jr. play well and watching Adrian Gonzales hit a league leading 22nd home run! At the end they had bases loaded which made it a bit exciting but they came up short. Not too big of a crowd at the baseball parks these days which make parking easy, and no lines. Baseball is the best game to watch and just chill out.

Yesterday, on a much more ambitious (Saturday, June 6th, 2009) I joined 4 guy friends and 5 girls to run the famous MUD RUN! We ran a 6.2 mile military obstacle course through tunnels, over walls, getting shot with fire hoses, through water, up muddy slippery hills, and crawling and treading through muddy sections. Pretty great time with some excellent beer gardens after the finish. Time for a jacuzzi. 🙂 Can’t wait to see the muddy pictures of our team soon!
